Modern Life is Rubbish is for me, the finest Blur album. With this album they matured from the 'Madchester' to a credible identity of their own. From For Tomorrow to The Universal, the album gives an insight into their Stadium and Festival filling future. Without this album and its success there would be no Parklife, Beetlebum, Song 2 or Out of /5().
